I do miss it, but the reason I began the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ybM91UtG_SA\" target=\"_blank\">daily doodle challenge<\/a> back in 2008 was because I wasn&#8217;t creating art every day and the 30 minute quickie seemed like a good way to jump back into the art pool.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve since then moved into creating larger bits of art on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>The thing with the sketchbook doodles, though, is the ability to play and explore, something the projects with deadlines and clients won&#8217;t allow me to do. I joined an art study group on Facebook, but the study prompts take a lot longer than 30 minutes to finish adequately and to my satisfaction, which defeats the sketchy sketchbook doodles exercise.<\/p>\n<p>I still have to get back to a daily habit of fun time doodling, but here are some I did recently to get used to the feel of a pencil in my hand again.<\/p>\n<p><a should go back to the ink sketchbook doodles challenge or just keep working in pencil for now.<\/p>\n<p>In any case, I want to keep working on the bigger pieces.
