It’s been a rough day.

I had my semi-annual dental cleaning today. This is usually not a big deal, I have clean teeth and rarely run into issues that need further care.

Such was not the case today. While cleaning my back molar, the hygienist managed to scrap a chip of bone off. She said it would need to have a filling. Needless to say, I am not amused.

I could have stayed and waited for the dentist to get to me, but my regular dentist was out today due to a family emergency and the other guy was doing double duty. I was cranky and hungry and decided not to wait around until he could eventually get to me. I have never seen him in the 9 years of going to this office. I opted to wait till tomorrow when (hopefully) my regular guy returns.

Meanwhile I am eating soft food and popping Advil. So not what I had planned for this week.
